This is a popular neighborhood in the Johns Creek/Alpharetta area and we had sold other homes in the community so we were very familiar with the floorplans, comparables and recent pricing. Since the goal of this project was to update and sell the home for the highest profit for the seller, we recommended the design and remodel updates that would have the greatest return on investment up to but not beyond the point of diminishing returns. The sellers trusted our recommendations and approved the entire budget of $25,000. The exterior of this home was covered by overgrown bushes and needed an exterior overhaul. This home already had a great kitchen layout, it just needed a facelift. The original island color was red, so we chose to paint it white to add a neutral contrasting color. The red and blue backsplash was updated to a fresh black and white modern tile. The entire home both inside and outside were painted. We removed the shutters to transform the exterior to an updated design style. The updates included:
